Perla Ramirez

Perla Ramirez , Staff Writer

At the age of three, Perla Ramirez traveled from El Salvador with her mother for a chance to obtain a brighter, better future, and there her journey began. Ramirez is an upbeat girl, always open to helping anyone in need. With her kind heart, she never excludes anyone. Ramirez is also very creative with her work of art. With a sketchbook and pencil in her hand, she lets all of her interesting shapes and colors flow right through her fingers on to paper. Along with drawing, Ramirez enjoys gardening and spending time with her brother. A regret that Ramirez has is not joining in any clubs and school activities earlier in high school. This year, she will be open to new things and learn through her high school experience.

Even though she wants to become a nurse assistant in the future, Perla Ramirez joined the journalism class to improve her writing skills and to take those skills with her in the future. She is now a new staff member of the Student News Site of Round Lake High School known as The Blaize and is excited to start working.
