March 13 felt surreal as teachers raced to fill their students in on what they would need to do to stay caught up in class. Many English teachers ventured to the library to check out books. Everyone joked that spring break was going to be an extra week long. That feels like a million years ago.
Students, faculty, and staff at Round Lake High School have been out of the building in an effort to keep COVID-19 at bay. While some states are cautiously opening back up bars, restaurants, and hosting other public gatherings, Illinois remains firmly in its shelter-in-place status. The past two months have been a whirlwind as everyone tries to adjust to this new normal. Here, a couple of Blaize staffers share some images from their quarantine experience.
